H. Herbert Benavent, DDS
He is part of a dental heritage of comfortable care and excellence. Dr. Benavent finished his undergraduate studies at the University of Puerto Rico in May 1977. He then graduated from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 1981. Dr. Benavent has dedicated his professional career to providing you with the best that dentistry has to offer. He is continually educating himself and his staff on the newest dental techniques and approaches in order to provide you with advanced, antiseptic, comfortable and personalized dental care.
Dr. Benavent has participated in numerous hours of continuing education courses including Infection Control, CPR, Medical Updates for Dentists, Oral Health for Women Throughout Her Life Stages, Evolution of Laser Dentistry, and Management of Complications of Dental Extractions.
Dr. Benavent is a member of the Dean’s Faculty at the University of Maryland Dental School, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. Dr. Benavent is a member of the Maryland State Dental Association, Howard County Dental Association and the American Dental Association. He has twice been president of the Maryland Dental Alumni in Puerto Rico. Dr. Benavent has also been president of the Western District of the College of Dental Surgeons of Puerto Rico. Dr. Benavent is fluent in both English and Spanish, and looks forward to your visit and to serving you.
